RETNA in NYC

Popular street artist RETNA (Marquis Lewis) has been hitting all across LA with his signature tags since he was in high school. He had his first major NYC solo show last month in a massive downtown warehouse into his own RETNA world. He did some work in DUMBO Brooklyn back in like 2007 but he came back to NY with full force this time. He is a rising star in the Modern Art world. Co-signed by people like Jeffrey Deitch and Chris Brown who made the opening for his NYC solo show.  Last week, the artist performed his rituals in the East Village and painted a massive mural on Houston and Bowery. He also linked up with COPE2 for a project while he was here. Check out some pics of the mural and other work while in NYC. We even included a video for you. Big K.R.I.T. recently dropped a new mixtape entitled 4eva N a Day. All tracks have been produced and arranged by Big K.R.I.T. himself. This is a well put together collection of music.
