More power, seductive lines, angry grille
: this is what happens when the C Class gets fed steroids! New for 2012, Mercedes-Benz has up the ante once again and converted their C Class to the dark side with the C63 AMG Black Series coupe. Similar to the CLK 63 and SL65 AMG Black series coupes from a few years ago, this model has lost weight
and its engine and transmission have gotten upgrades to match.Power have been bumped up significantly to 510 HP and 457 lb-ft of torque from the standard AMG's 451 HP and 443lb-ft respectively. This may not sound like alot but with 44lbs shaved off the curb weight, this "evil twin" darts to 60 in only 3.9 seconds. Trust us when we say that you'd have to be holding on to something when this thing gets goin'! Although MB hasn't yet revealed how many units would be produced, expect it to start somewhere around $100,000 with distribution starting early 2012. Check out the pics below.
