OBEY x COPE2 Collaboration

Shepard Fairey has linked with NY urban art legend Cope2 for his latest Artist collaboration. The collabo is wisely named the OBEY x COPE2 Collaboration from OBEY CLOTHING. Cope2 was notorious in the 90's for his colorful & stylish throw-ups all over NYC. He started before the 90's but that's when he was everywhere. Cope2 transformed the NY urban landscape back when graffiti was not considered an art form. Now that graffiti is international, legendary artists' like Cope2 get to shine. The world has embraced the HipHop Culture from the music & fashion to art. Urban art is in the Galleries. Thanks to great artists' like Cope2.

AIR JORDAN 1 RETRO ’89 – “TORO”

Nike's newest Jordan 1 offering is the new Air Jordan 1 ’89 “Toro”. The sneakers are mostly fire-red with a lot of intricate styling ques. A red mesh overlays the “Nike Swoosh” & black background. One of the more interesting details of the sneaker. The ankles boast a speckled  grey Cement print with the “Air Jordan” graphic on it. The dominant red theme is further broken up by the white mid-sole & Grey bottoms. The flat, black shoelaces tie it altogether. Jodan’s Jumpman silhouette is embroidered in black thread for that aesthetic appeal. However at the end of the day, these are still Retro. Never the less they are Dope. MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA GALAXY-PRINT LEATHER SNEAKERS

It seems like the Nike "Galaxy" Foamposite has inspired even the top designer of the world. The Galactic-print has been seen on everything from hats & t-shirts to book bags. It can be very difficult to re-imagine & design pieces based on classic patterns & prints, while maintaining individuality. However, Maison Martin Margiela has done just that. 

Givenchy Padded Leather Sneakers

 
Givenchy continues to push Riccardo Tisci's street-ready gothic vision with the latest from the footwear department. Givenchy is offering both an uber-lux black leather padded mid-tops & Arctic Grey hi-tops that are far from basic. The contrasting materials really make these shoes stand out, yet retains a super clean silhouette. With great styling features such as adjustable metal buckle strap & leather padded laces add a level of sophistication. Meanwhile the tonal rubber textured sole on the toe and heel gives an overall urban look to it. These sneakers are available at fine retailers like Ssense. There are not too many options when it comes to customizing your Beats By Dre headphones. Of course you can always get it flooded out with diamonds or crystals but that's not a realistic option now is it. This is a great Cognac from Remy Martin, that is intended to be as fruity and sweet as a luscious Georgia peach. The sweet yet smooth finish is a refreshing in comparison to the floral spicy notes of the classic Hennessy blend. The Cognac grading system may have been created by Maurice Hennessy in 1865, but Remy Martin is providing a new dynamic to a classic spirit.

Puma x UNDFTD Nylon Ripstop Clydes

One of the latest PUMA x Undefeated Collabos is the Nylon Ripstop Clydes. The NRC’s design is inspired by the military by incorporating high quality Nylon Ripstop material into the classic PUMA Clyde. Ripstop was originally developed for parachutes during World War II to replace the expensive silk material used prior. Ripstop is a very durable material and is resistant to tearing and ripping. These will last you a long time, without a doubt.
It's almost impossible to re-invent a classic. However, PUMA x Undefeated have found a way to add a twist to a classic iconic shoe such as the the Clyde. This new collection manages to capture the clean lines and classic aesthetics of the shoe, while giving an updated appearance with cool fall colors. Dave Ortiz Opens Dave’s Wear House in NYC

Denim and Supply by Polo Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren debuted the new ‘Denim and Supply‘ range at the Bread and Butter trade show in Berlin. This premium fashion house continues to spread its wings in the denim industry. The collection will be split into two collections for F/W 2011-12 season. The Ralph Denim & Supply will be exclusively for women, while the Polo Denim & Supply will be exclusively for men. Denim & Supply collection carries its own distinct look. The Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren collection is a new line of apparel and premium denim that caters to the younger urban market more than the typical Polo design. This premium denim collection is due to hit a handful of select stores/departments in mid-December 2011 in the U.S. This collection may revive the brand to its former glory days in the urban culture scene, but that remains to be seen. Denham the Jeanmaker 1st Edition Select Denim

 Denham the Jeanmaker is a label known for and built on experimentation and cutting edge innovation. This company is the personal vision of Jason Denham, who has demonstrated his resolve to resist compromise. As Jason puts it, "The truth is in the details". And the Denham line is filled with cool details and are hand-made. Not something you hear often in the denim industry.

Denham is set to release a new collection of denim called 1st Edition Select to all its retailers this July. The 1st Edition Select is limited to about 150 pieces per model. Each pair is hand-made in Japan and is claimed to have taken about six months to construct. This collection is very rare and exclusive but super hot. There will not be a lot of people walking around in these jeans. No info on the price as of yet but you can expect a premium price for these super exclusive denim. Nike x Hurley ‘Phantom 4D’ Air Max 90

 
What's going on folks? Here's a heads up for ya! To celebrate the released Phantom 4D line of boardshorts using Nike's Flywire technology, Nike Sports Wear has created something worth looking at.  Using the classic Air Max 90 sneaker, the artist Dalek has created a design that canvases the entire sneaker that uses Nike's aforementioned Flywire Technology.

Nike 6.0: Just Do It – Artist Collection

Nike 6.0 has teamed up with artist Jonathan Gray, Brent Rollins, Ben Jones, and Michael Leon or a limited edition t-shirt/sneaker collection.  They have taken  the famous slogan, Just Do It and put their own interpretation on it in the form of black graphic tees and brightly colored custom sneakers.  The sneakers are available in green, purple, yellow and gray and the collection is available at select stores worldwide.  

Big Boi x Android Homme Sneaker

Jack Threads is launching a series of collabos for Bonnaroo.  On the list is a special mash up between Big Boi and Android Homme.  The mix up created features Android's signature high top sneaker the Propulsion Hi with Big Boi's artistic twist.  Inspired by Big Boi's "General Patton" track off the album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, these Hommes are made of different materials such as premium leather, suede and canvas. 

Nike Aina Chukka NW & Talache Low AC ND Pack

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word "Quickstrike"? Exactly, something that's going to be on the market for a limited time, and in limited numbers.  It isn't new for Nike to create Quickstrike sneakers as we all know.  They did it this time in package form featuring two clean pairs of kicks that will have everyone staring at your feet as soon as you step out the house. The heat for the streets comes to you by way of the Aina Chukka NW and the Talache Low AC ND.

Onitsuka Tiger x Koi Klub: X-Caliber

 
Onitsuka first teamed up with the Berlin based Koi Klub eight years ago and this entry is the latest of the partnership.  As it goes, designer Yoske Nishiumi explained that the word "koi" has six different meanings in his native Japanese language.  He further went on to stating that in English, it means "on purpose" or "purposefully".  With this in mind for designing the X-Caliber, Yoske purposefully used materials and colors that didn't match.

Marc Jacobs x New Era Caps

 Marc Jacobs recently released a series of New Era 59Fifty fitteds at Marc Jacobs stores worldwide. There are only four styles of this super lux fitted cap. This collection is being offered in various shades of gray,  with black and white embroidery available. Clean and simple design just in time for the summer. You can pick one up for only $35 bucks. Okay that's a lot for a 59Fifty but it's also a Marc Jacobs. So go get it and be super cool at your next BBQ. Check out the collection after the drop.

MOCA x Levi's Trucker Jackets

At the occasion of the MOCA “Arts in the streets” LEVI’S has linked up the exhibition artists' to create these exclusive jeans jacket. This special design project features some of the greatest urban artists of our time. Great artists like Chaz Bojorquez, CRASH, KR, Neckface, Lady Pink, REVOK,  Shepard Fairey, Kenny Scharf  and Keith Haring. You can literally wear your favorite urban artist on your back. Felt Bicycles is paying homage to the iconic Shelby GT350. They definitely went all-out on this limited edition Shelby Cruiser. The designers took styling cues straight from classic Shelby GT350 racing traditions. They paid very close attention to detail, which is very noticeable and intriguing to say the least. The Shelby Cruiser features the legendary Wimbledon White and Guardsman Blue paint that was only found on the famed Shelby GT350.
