BMW has collaborated with Italian styling house Pininfarina, to create the outstanding Gran Lusso coupe. They decided to the complete unveiling at the 2013 Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza in Italy. This V12-powered concept coupe is a unique styling exercise at best. We have seen this show before. Remember the BMW CS Concept back in 2007? The super full-sized four door coupe they claimed was going to be the flagship vehicle, but wisely backed down because of the financial crisis. BMW was not the only automotive company to effected by the financial crisis. A lot of great concepts got scraped because of the same reason. BMW has implemented a lot of the styling elements of the CS into modern BMW models still to this day. There is something a little different about this one though. Its not that radical of a concept vehicle. Most of the technology Incorporated into the design of the vehicle is currently available.

The Sora Electric Motorcycle
What's going on motor-tech heads? We've covered some pretty cool stuff, but I think this takes the cake. The perfectionists at Lito Green Motion have taken an already existing concept, and made it better. Sort of like re-inventing the wheel, the engineers have seamlessly meshed function, form, technology and practicality all in one package they call The Sora. Looking at it you say, but it looks like an ordinary motorcycle, right? No folks, this isn't just another 2-wheel performance sport bike, this is a fully electronic motorcycle
that produces 708 lb-ft capable of going 120 MPH with a 185 mile range. That's not all it comes with though; the Sora comes with a lot of world's firsts for a motorcycle including CVT (continuous varying transmission), electric seat, touch screen GPS and keyless go
! Lito Green Motion is asking for $44k+, but considering that you can change riding position at the touch of a button and never have to gas up we think that's a lot of bang for your buck! Take a look at more pictures below.

2011 Audi R8 GT
Greetings Audi fans, auto-philes and connoisseurs of all things beautiful, fast and ridiculously expensive!! The rumor that has been floating around about a limited edition souped up version of the already powerful R8 is in fact the truth. It comes to you by way of the lighter, dressed up, no non-sense R8 GT. The Audi engineers have put their exotic on a special diet that has trimmed it's weight down by 220lbs, reducing it to a gross of only 3,582lbs. Thanks in part by chucking the "heavier" rear glass window and windshield for thinner, stronger polycarbonate structures, pounds were shed. This was also achieved by the use of light weight carpeting, thinner sheet metal body panels, a rear hatch with fixed wing, carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) bumpers and a glass-reinforced plastic structure for the bucket seats.

2011 BMW S 1000 RR
The 2011 BMW S1000 RR is the most powerful 1000cc production bike on the market. Producing mind blowing numbers like 193hp and 83 ft-lbs of torque. This power house only weighs in at about 404 lbs. dry and 450 lbs. fully fueled, giving it one of the best power-to-weight ratios. This motorcycle offers some of the most advanced electronic rider safety systems. The S1000 RR features an ultra-lightweight ABS and the super efficient DTC (dynamic traction control). This DTC reacts reliably and efficiently to speed, lean angle, and the rider's selected operating mode. The operating mode changes the motorcycle's "set-up" depending on the rider's selected setting (rain, sport, race, or slick). BMW designed this motorcycle brilliantly by positioning vents behind the fairing to minimize turbulence and allow the rider to maintain a relaxed head position. This in turn, optimizes air-flow around the rider and bike which ensures stability at top speed. The vents also provides air flow for efficient engine cooling.
BMW designed the S1000 RR with an aggressive forward wedge design focusing on aerodynamics and design composition. This motorcycle is definitely winning!!

2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
We've brought you yet another tasty, mouth watering morsel from across the pond. This time it's from Lamborghini's HQ at Sant'Agata Bolognese. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor show, the official name of the company's fifth generation V12 is the Aventador LP700-4. If you know anything about the history of how these iconic and powerful sports cars acquire their names, then you would know that Aventador was yet another legendary bull from Saragozza, Spain. He became famous but inevitably met its end in a "spirited bout" with a torero in 1993.

2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition
Nissan is introducing six different versions of the GT-R for 2012. These versions include: "Pure Edition," "Black Edition," "Premium Edition," "SpecV," ClubTrack," and "EGOIST." The "Black Edition" is one of the best. Awesome styling ques like an enlarged fascia and grille openings, a newly refreshed front fascia with aggressive double rectifier fins, and Hyper Daylight and high intensity white-color LED lights. The back of the GT-R gets a new rear bumper air outlet, a dry carbon rear spoiler, and a newly designed tailpipe finisher with enlarged diameter, all created to provide this monster with a lower center of gravity.

The new Porsche 918 RSR: Sneak Peak
The big news at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show is the Porsche 918 RSR, a hybrid supercar that takes design cues from predecessors like the 911, the 908, and of course the 918 Spyder. The reinforced carbon fiber body of the 918 RSR hides some interesting tricks behind its muscular aerodynamic curvature. Under the light weight carbon fiber hood, a 10,300 RPM direct injection 90º V8 provides the 918 RSR with a primary output of 563 horsepower. This 918 RSR Hybrid has the potential of a mind blowing 767 horsepower. Both of the front wheels contributes an additional 75 kW of electric power to the racer, resulting in a total accumulated 767 horsepower at peak operation. Check out the video of The Porsche 918 on the track below.
