BMW Vision ConnectedDrive Concept Car (Pics + Video)


The BMW Vision ConnectedDrive was debuted recently at Geneva 2011. The Vision ConnectedDrive Concept vehicle not so much about design, but more about a concept that shows how cars could be connected to their environment in the future. The BMW concept remains a study case and BMW has emphasized again that this is only a concept vehicle for now and no plans for a production model. BMW has not provided any information about the powertrain of this concept. However, the design and technology featured in the concept will be integrated into future BMW models. This topless concept showcar focuses on three areas; comfort, safety and infotainment.


The driver will be able to monitor a multitude of information thanks to a three-dimensional head-up display. The display is fully customizable. Creating a closer connection with the driver and the vehicle by providing the option of choosing as much or as little information displayed as desired.
