LEE Jeans - 'Vintage' 101 Collection

Remember LEE Jeans from the 80's? Well they're back with a collection of 'vintage' jeans. The 101 Collection features 'vintage' cuts and washes from the '40s, '50s and '60s. The LEE denim jean brand has a deep history that dates back to 1889. During the 40s the company became the leading manufacturer of work clothes in the US and the Lazy "S" became the official LEE back pocket. In the '50s, LEE expanded into casual wear. During the 1960s the company expanded to 81 countries, becoming a brand. In the 1970s LEE shifted its focus from the workwear and began catering to fashion trends. LEE created a sub-culture with its denim campaign in the 80's. Everything from Acid and Stone wash to 2-tone color jeans.
LEE has always been known for their quality and craftsmanship from back in the day. The new collection displays this with features like Copper pocket rivets, lined back pockets and double stitching. They don't make 'em like this any more. Quality has been replaced with one word, which is Quantity. Thankfully, great denim brands like LEE, will hit us with a collection of some well made Jeans. They have also included some classically designed shirts and tops in the collection. Check out the new collection below. This collection can be found in exclusive stores and boutiques like Crooked Tongues
